Yeah man I'm goin with a supra buddy (on this site - REDL1NE), another friend, and 3 other dudes. We're all jumpin in a rental to take down there haha. We could caravan for sure if you want to though, and if you got room for one more for half the way there, I might hop in with you guys as we're gonna be pretty full til we meet up with some other guys in Dallas before heading on down to Houston...

Thursday through sunday next week. Pretty much TT viper, TT supras, pretty much and street car making over 1000RWHP and anything that can compete with them all in one place for a whole weekend. There is roadcourse, drag, dyno, shows ect. The street racing that weekend is supposed to be stupid.

Better hurry if you wanna stay at the host hotel - the Omni Hotel at Westside. Great deals on rooms if theres any left...
We're not as into the road racing portion on Thursday, so we're planning on leaving Thursday morning around 10am from Norman. Meeting a couple of guys coming from Tulsa in Dallas around 1pm and stop for lunch. Goin on down to Houston soon after. I went back in 2006 and had an awesome time. Theres badass cars everywhere, tons of street racing, and night meets where the cops actually don't give a shit if you loiter around in parking lots without running you off. Its a good time and everywhere you turn is a 600+ rwhp car, its ridiculous.

Houston is just a badass place for perfomance vehicle related stuff. I guess with a population like that of Houston you might have a few auto enthusiasts around. It it wasn't for the traffic, and the overpopulation and the...well ok, if it wasn't Houston I sure wouldn't mind moving down there.

Haha whatever makes the drive better, i almost contemplated trailering my car down there for the night time action........... but i don't think i would fit in to well with 1000rwhp street cars
